Please send questions and suggestions to [email protected]. Currently, the system is in production but access is limited. If you'd like to use Early Bird for your event, please email [email protected].
What types of events is Early Bird RSVP for?
It is for reunions, family and friend gatherings, sporting events (who is playing in the next soccer match), volunteer events (who is coming, and who is bringing what supplies), and more.
What does Early Bird RSVP do?
Here are some of the features:
No ads and no trackers. Guest emails are never shared with other guests.
Hold events with up to 500 guests. You can use the system to invite guests, or use your own email.
If allowed, guests can invite one or more plus ones
If allowed, guests can send emails to each other without sharing email addresses
Creation of activities for guests. Examples: cleanup duty and bring dessert. If allowed, guests can see what is still wanted and who is bringing what.
Automatic and manually triggered emails to guests. Optionally, the emails show who is attending, who is assigned what activities, and what activities still need help.
Custom fields to collect additional information from guests, such as food preferences
Multiple hosts per event (no need to share emails)
Passwordless guest registration so they can update their attendance and tasks (they can use passwords if they want)
Clone events with or without cloning the guest list
What do you mean by "No Trackers"?
Many event management systems send emails with hidden pixels, which silently allow hosts to know when guests open event emails. Out emails have no hidden pixels, because we think that's an invasion of your privacy. Hosts will know your response to their invitations when you want them to know.
What does Early Bird RSVP not do?
The main “missing” features are:
Fee collection
Building a sophisticated event web site. It does let you build an event home page. And if you already have an event web site, you can add links so that guests can register with Early Bird RSVP.
Is my personal data shared?
We do not sell or share personal data. That means we never share your email, except that if you sign up for an event, we will share your email with the hosts.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Early Bird RSVP runs on the Google Cloud. Data is encrypted at rest, and only transmitted in and out of the Google data centers with encryption. The only exception is that emails are not encrypted (which is the nature of emails used for communications that don't involve sensitive data). We use Postmark for sending email. Postmark is a well-regarded email sender.
If I have more than 500 guests can I use Early Bird?
Contact us. We currently test for up to 500 guests, but there are no hard limits that would prevent us from supporting larger events.
